2. "True Singapore Ghost Stories" volumes 1-10, by Russell Lee (Available through Borders Bookstores international ordering.

3. "Kwaidan: Stories and Studies of Strange Things" by Lafcadio Hearn. Kwaidan means strange stories in Japanese. Lafcadio Hearn wrote these traditional ghost stories and legends from first-hand accounts

4. "Haunted Places," by Dennis William Hauck

5. "The International Directory of Haunted Places" by Dennis William Hauck

6. "Supernatural and Mysterious Japan," by Catrien Ross (Available at Borders and Kinokuniya Bookstore)

1. "New England's Ghostly Haunts," by Robert Ellis Cahill. Great pics. (Bought this one in Cape Cod, MA)

2. "Cape May Ghost Stories" by David J. Seibold & Charles J. Adams. Cape May, New Jersey. Good old ghost stories from the Jerzey shore. Available in New Jersey Barnes and Nobles.

3. "Book Two: Cape May Ghost Stories" by David J. Seibold, Research Assistance by David J. Seibold. So nice they wrote it twice. Available in New Jersey Barnes and Nobles.

4. "Ghosts: True Stories from British Columbia" by Robert C. Belyk. I bought this one in Vancouver, B.C. in Canada, eh?

5. "New Orleans Ghosts" by Victor C. Klein. Great true ghost stories from the Crescent City. Ghosts in the big easy.

6. "Ghost Stories of the Delaware Coast" By David J. Seibold and Charles J. Adams. Boy these guys sure travel.

7. "Haunted Houses of California: A Ghostly Guide to Haunted Houses and wandering sprits" by Antoinette May. I bought this at the Winchester Mansion in San Jose, California. Sylvia Brown writes a good critique of it.

8. "Ghost Stories of California" by Barbara Smith

9. "Supernatural and Mysterious Japan" by Catrien Ross. OK, I bought this one in Borders in the US, but I have been to Japan.

 

Other Great Scary Books: (Fact and Fiction)

1. "Dracula" by Bram Stoker. A surprisingly scary book for one written in the 1800's! Go read it.

2. "Japanese Tales of Mystery & Imagination" by Edogawa Rampo. Japan's earliest mystery writing dealing with the supernatural and strange. I bought this one at the Kinokuniya Book store.

3. "More Tales for the Midnight Hour" by J.B. Stamper. A children's book that I still skim through. Its one of those book fare books that I bought as a kid.

4. "The Jersey Devil" by James F. McCloy and Ray Miller Jr. Go Jerzey!
